William Stuckey Obituary

William "Bill" Stuckey Georgetown, SC - William "Bill" Stuckey, 77, passed away on February 23, 2022. Bill was the son of the late Dr. William Addison Stuckey and Mary Frances Tucker Stuckey. He was born and raised in Sumter, SC. He spent the last sixteen years in Georgetown with his wife of fifty-four years, Nina Osteen Stuckey. Bill was a graduate of Clemson College, where he was a member of The Numeral Society. After graduation, Bill served as a Captain in the USAF. After an honorable discharge, Bill moved back to Sumter, where he owned and operated several businesses- Stuckey Construction Company; Nu Idea School Supply; Gamble & Stuckey Construction. Bill was a member and Deacon at Georgetown Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Winyah Indigo Society. Bill is predeceased by: a son, William Adison Stuckey III. Bill is survived by his wife, Nina; daughter, Valerie Stuckey Lynn (Douglas); grandson, Jack and William Lynn; a brother, Roy Tucker Stuckey (Dale); and a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Stuckey Wilson. Funeral Services will be two o'clock Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Corey Ingold.
