William Sings Obituary

William Earl Sings GOOSE CREEK - William Earl Sings, 79, of Goose Creek, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Sings was born November 14, 1932 in Wadesboro, NC to the late William Eben Sings and Cora Mae McRoi Sings. He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired in 1971. He was also employed for Penske for more than 25 years. In his leisure, Mr. Sings enjoyed travelling. He was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by his family. Mr. Sings is survived by three sons, Michael G. Sings (Karen), David E. Sings, and Richard E. Sings, two grandchildren, Tommy J. Sings and Tammy Sings Robinson (Art), four great-grandchildren, Dakota Sings, Matthew Sings, Thomas Sings, and Jehsey Sings, and three step grandchildren, Zach, Nick, and Ashley Robinson, one sister, Doris Ricketts (Benjiman), and seven nieces and nephews, Sharon Ricketts, Barry Ricketts, Dennis Ricketts, Judy Sellars, Tony Ricketts, Connie Kiker, and Karen Bonz. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Agape Hospice, 9301 Medical Plaza Drive, Charleston, SC 29406. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Sandy "Tudy" Phillips with Agape Hospice, who truly became a part of their family with her compassion and care and also to Simplicity Lowcountry for their guidance and concern.
