Rest in Peace Bill
Mamie Rudy
February 8, 2018
Bill was not only a neighbor, but a friend to our family. It was truly a pleasure knowing him. We always enjoyed having long conversations in our backyard in the early evenings. I would discuss history and family with Bill, while Shaun would talk woodwork, tools and craft. He is already sorely missed, but we know he is basking in all the joy of being in his heavenly home.
We are truly sorry for the family Bill leaves behind and know your loss is a great one. We hope you find comfort in knowing that he loved each and every one of you so very much. When he spoke of you, and he spoke of you often, he lit up like a Christmas tree. He was so proud of all of you.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything at all.
With Love and Prayers,
Mamie and Shaun Rudy

My heart felt condolences to the entire Socia family during this time and days following. The Communion of the Saints is a very real thing. Our loved ones still are beside us, hidden from our view, but with us. I have many stories of this in my own life. Blessings and the comfort of the Holy Spirit to all of you.

I will always miss Bill, his dry humor and his age old jokes. We also had lots of fun at Page's auction. RIP Bill. Jean Crummer

Dear, Gary, Lea and Family,
My Uncle Bill was a kind and nurturing man. He was ready to laugh and teach and share simultaneously which he did often with my siblings and I. He taught me about stamps and shared coins from his coin collection with me including a 1750 coin from Great Britain. When a was a Cub Scout, one year he helped me build my Pinewood Derby car entry. We painted in together and covered it in tiny decals (We finished a strong second and we won a plaque!). I recently enjoyed the great gift of telling Uncle Bill precisely how much he meant to me over the course of my life and how much I loved him. What a wonderful and caring man.
For William, Catherine, Paxton and Michael be grateful you had such a wonderful grandfather in your lives for as long as you were blessed to. For Gary, Lea and family please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Ken and Megan
