William Parks Obituary

William "Bruce" Parks Charleston - William Bruce Parks, 73, of Charleston, husband of the late Marcia Parks, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC. A funeral service will be held on October 1, 2022, at 11 o'clock at Christ St. Paul Church located at 4981 Chapel Road, Youngs Island, SC, burial to follow. Bruce was born on December 14, 1948, in Charleston, SC, son of the late Zed and Maude Parks. He attended St. Paul High School in Hollywood, SC. There he met the love of his life, Marcia. They were married 42 years. He joined the U.S. Army Reserves after high school and after the reserves worked in sales at National Welders. He later opened his own business, Parks Auto Salvage. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his son, William Troy Parks (Michelle); two grandsons, William Connor Parks and Dylan Alexander Parks; siblings: Carolyn Faucette (Kenny), Allan Parks and Lisa Pace; niece, Ashley Gallagher and nephew, Thomas Parks.
