William Naish Kaloupek
Isle of Palms - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Naish. William Naish Kaloupek passed away on March 15, 2026, after a courageous 18-month battle with RMS - a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Naish was born on February 28, 2013 to parents Brad and Heidi Kaloupek, growing up enjoying the lowcountry and Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
Naish leaves behind a world forever changed by his bright spirit, kind heart, and quirky sense of humor which he shared with everyone he encountered. Naish loved his dog Maggie, his constant companion. He enjoyed many activities including basketball, surfing, tennis, golf, fishing, swimming, and Boy Scouts.
Naish had a gift for making people feel seen and included. Whether he was sharing a joke, offering a helping hand, or simply being his genuine self, he made life lighter for his friends, teammates, and family. Wise beyond his years, Naish loved a fierce game of Uno or intense game of Risk. His smile - bright, mischievous, unforgettable - will be deeply missed.
Naish is survived by parents Brad and Heidi Kaloupek, grandparents Tom and Nancy Kaloupek, and Ken and Darla Czech. Aunts and uncles Jeff and Erin Kaloupek, Polly and Josh Dwuznik and Cami and Doug Jarnot and cousins Hadley, Kelly, Hannah, Blair and Chloe. As well many relatives and friends who loved him beyond measure. Though his time with us was far too short, his spirit will live on in our memories, stories, and love he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate in his name at Naish.Kaloupek.com. Naish said on his 13th birthday "everyday is a gift", words to live by and remember his spirit through.
We invite you to share a memory and sign our guest book.
