William Limehouse Summerville - William Bruce Limehouse, 72, of Ridgeville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Bruce grew up in Ladson, SC, and was the son of the late Vincent B. Limehouse and Bernice N. Limehouse. Bruce was a graduate of R.B. Stall High School, and served in the United States Air Force. Over the years, he worked for the United States Postal Service and Pine Forest golf course. He enjoyed sports, especially golf, and loved animals, including his cats. He is survived by his son, Vincent Miller of Summerville, SC; sisters, Cheryl L. Wiggins of Edisto Island, SC, Lynn L. Priester (Jimmy) of Goose Creek, SC, And Susan L. Atkinson Russell (Randy) of Manning, SC; nephews, Chip Wiggins of Walterboro, SC, Brett Wiggins (Jennifer) of Walterboro, SC, and two great-nieces and two great- nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 2 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend, Bruce. We attended high school together and what good memories. We lost touch over the years, but Bruce was always in my thoughts. Sorry to learn of the passing of Bruce. We have not been in contact for many years, however we remember good times.
I joined the U S Air Force in 1968 and Bruce and I were in basic training together and also stationed at Bitburg air force base in Germany at the same time. Wendy worked with Bruce at the US Post office in Summerville and has many fond memories and fun times with golfing events at work with Bruce and friends.
