William Larisey Obituary

William "Bill" Stokes Larisey HILTON HEAD, SC - Mr. William "Bill" Larisey of Hilton Head Island, formerly of Hampton, SC, and Atlanta, GA, died Saturday evening January 26, 2013 at the Hilton Head Hospital. Born May 2, 1939 in Colleton County, he was the son of the late Dr. Carr Tully Larisey and Ottalie Madden Larisey. He had been a Sales Representative with both Westinghouse Corporation and Celetex and later in his career he was the Business Manager with Brunson Building Supply. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston. He is survived by his wife Lorraine "Bay" Hayne Jeffcoat Larisey of the home; one son, William Stokes Larisey, Jr of Summerville; three step-sons: David Eugene Jeffcoat, Jr. and wife Kathy of Cincinnati, Ohio, John Richter Jeffcoat and wife Gary of Little River, SC and Robert Hayne Jeffcoat, and his companion Virginia White of Moncks Corner, SC; one daughter, Virginia Denise Mosely and husband Kenneth of Guyton, GA and one twin sister, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Rothrock of High Point, NC. There are 4 grandchildren, William Carr Larisey. Kenneth David Mosely, Jr., Jesse Denise Mosely and Ian Hay Mosely and 4 step-grandchildren: Megan Flanigan and husband Matt, Janie Jeffcoat, Shelby Jeffcoat and Sarah White. He was predeceased by his brother Carr Tully Larisey, Jr. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11 AM in The chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Mulberry St. West, Hampton, SC 29924 (803-943-3352). Rev. Rossiter Chellis will be the officiating minister. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday afternoon at 4 PM at his residence on Hilton Head Island.
