William Langley Obituary

William John "Bill" Langley MONCKS CORNER - William John "Bill" Langley, 75, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired retail personnel trainer, died Tuesday in the Life Care Center of Charleston. His memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday morning, February 8, 2014, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mr. Langley was born August 9, 1938, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of Ted Langley and Ruth Jolly Langley. Mr. Langley was a graduate of Berkeley High School where he played on the football team, and Clemson University. He was a Navy veteran of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Mr. Langley enjoyed watching college football, fishing, crabbing, cooking, music, and camping. He was the widower of Ella Yvonne Langley. Surviving are, three daughters, Lisa Sherfinski Muckelvaney and her husband, Dean, of N. Charleston, Cyndi Hale and her husband, Jerry, of Hanceville, AL, and Candace Bledsoe of Coleman AL; seven grandchildren, Andrew Sherfinski, Morgan Donnelly, Kyle Donnelly, Diane Yvonne Freeman, Tammy Jones, Johnathan Park, and Amanda Nevins; and seven great-grandchildren.
