William Lachicotte Obituary

LACHICOTTE, W. SUMTER, S.C. - William Fitch "Bill" Lachicotte, Jr., 80, husband of Vivian Burress Lachicotte, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005. Born in Charleston, he was the son of the William F. Lachicotte, Sr., and the late Florence Ward Lachicotte. He was a member of All Saints Waccamaw Episcopal Church in Pawley's Island. He was a graduate of Porter Military Academy in Charleston. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; one son, William F. Lachicotte, III, of Charleston; one daughter Lisa L. Allbritton and husband Joe of Sumter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
