William Jinks Obituary

JINKS, William William Arthur Wild Bill Jinks, 71, of Ladson, loving husband for 50 years of Myra Ann Ruerup Jinks died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 2, 2006 at 9 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 until 4 o'clock and from 6 until 8 o'clock Sunday evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 100 Four Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483. Mr. Jinks was born July 29, 1935 in Plainfield, New Jersey, a son of the late Arthur Christopher Jinks and Mary Dean McDonough. He attended St. Mary's Grammar School and Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps ,C-1-5-1, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 1 in New Jersey. He worked in the construction business from surveyor to demolition and everything else in between. Surviving in addition to his wife are: 3 sons: Arthur C. Jinks II of Ladson Brian P. Jinks and his wife Jocelyne of North Miami, Florida, Timothy J. Jinks of Charlotte, North Carolina; 2 sisters: Suzanne Stevens of Biscayne Park, Florida, Katherine Winzenried of Biscayne Park, Florida; Grandchildren: Daniel W. Jinks and Andrew J.
