Joanne Suggs Burkes
November 2, 2023
Growing up on Johns Island, S.C., together for so many years, Billy (Jeff), his parents and siblings, Jennie, Buzzy (Roddy) and Marie went to the same church, Johns Island Baptist Church, as my family, the Suggs´,did and all the siblings attended the same school, St. John´s High. My brother, Carroll, and I were especially close to Billy in the years following his military service in the Army.
We are very sad to hear he has passed away. We offer our sympathy and prayers to his entire family. May God be close to each one of them as they face the days ahead
without him!
