Cathy,
I was in shock when my son, Ryan Jones told me about Lucky. My heart goes out to you and your family. Memories immediately came to mind when Paul and I use to hang out with y'all. Good times that will never be forgotten. I will continue to pray for all of you. Be strong and know that God`s plan isn't one for us to understand, it's what we must believe in and know it's for the right reason....

Mom had to sign the print guest book for me. (I guess somebody forgot to put the braille writer out?) So, I wanted to sign here.

It's a funny thing, but from the time I first met Uncle Luck, he already seemed like family. Usually, there's this slightly uncertain period, especially given that I'm blind, where the person I meet doesn't, “Want to say the wrong thing.” When you consider how much I pick and joke, the fact that Uncle Luck was right there with me meant a lot. I kept trying to get him, from seeing if he'd teach me how to shoot. (That one was always along the lines of, “Sure, as soon as the game's over.” Or, “Yeah, right after dinner.”) I asked Luck once if I could drive his vehicle. He told me that sure I could. All I had to do was catch the keys! (I sometimes wonder, if we'd taken that one a little further, and if I'd somehow managed to catch those keys out of sheer luck, would he have let me drive?) I have a feeling the answer just might have been yes.

I know that we're all gonna miss Uncle Luck, and this part of things is never that easy, but I can tell you, without any hesitation or doubt… Whenever I think of Uncle Luck, whether it's 2 days or 20 years from now, I know my heart will fill with love, and, for some reason, there'll always be a grin trying to come out on my big mouth! I love you guys.
