Robert/Kenny... So sad to hear of the passing of your Dad... I just saw the notice in the paper.. We have been at Roper/St. Francis (ICU) since Friday w/Jimmy's Dad. I wish I could be there and offer support, but please know that I have you in my prayers.. Sincerely, Clara Sue

I have fond memories of Kenneth. How well I know he was a Christian gentlemen. When I was only 9 or 10 years old he would take me to sunday school and church on his bicycle. Spent time with Kenneth out on Granddad Epps farm as did several of his nephews and nieces. We all had a grand time at the family reunions. I'm sure there are many family members and friends who have wonderful memories of interacting with Kenneth and feeling his love in many ways. These words come to mind,"WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.

Lynn & Family, Thinking of you all. Reading the comments about your Wonderful Dad made my heart Smile! What a Legacy of Love. I'm sure you Miss Him already...but I am certain that there is a big "Welcome Home" party going on in Heaven right now!

I had the pleasure of working with Wille Epps for a number of years. He was indeed a class individual and a credit to the Shipyard. He leaves behind so much to be proud of.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all on the passing of your Dad. He was a good man! Mama and Daddy really thought a lot of him and Estalene. So sorry for your loss!

Mr. Epps was a special friend and was like family to us

I wish I had known Mr.Epps. He sounds like such a wonderful man. I do know he raised one of the sweetest ladies I know, Lisa Epps Eysen! Thoughts and prayer to you all as you celebrate your dad's life! Love

It's terribly hard to say goodbye to such wonderful kin and great person. Will remember him always. He and the family are all gone now. May they of found peace and each other again. Kenneth will live in my mind and heart forever.

Papa was seriously the most incredible man I have ever had in my life. He was always there for all of us and I knew I could count on him. It's hard to grasp that he's gone but if I could be half the person he was I would be happy. He is loved by so many people. I've never met someone so strong in so many ways. I miss you papa. Grandma got the best valentines date in the world. Being with you again. I love you and thanks for being the worlds greatest grandpa!

Kenny, Robert, Lynn, Lisa and family our prayers are with you all. Your Dad was a very special person and I know you will all miss him very much. Our family too have special memories of our youth and time spent with all of you. God be with you and give you His peace during this time of your Dad's home going.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. Robert (passed away in April 2010) and Florene Bradley Heaton had many great times with him and the family and spoke of the family often. His wife and my grandmother were sisters (Dianne Heaton Butts). May all the good memories help the family during this time.

Mr. Epps was one of the finest men I have ever known. He and his late wife, Dot, were very close friends of my parents, J.D. and Doris Burkett, and after they were gone, Mr, Epps was still close to my family and I. We would always go to see him when we visited Charleston and would have wonderful visits with him. We send love to his family. We will always remember your Dad.

Mr. Epps was a great man and neighbor. We will always remember his gentle disposition and kindness to our family. His devotion to Mrs. Epps during her illness was an example for all of us. Thank you Willie for your example of how to live a good life.

Willie was a very dear friend. We worked together for thirty six years and continued to communicate for the next twenty six. He was a Christian and I always admired him, especially the kind of father and husband he was. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers are with the family during these trying times.

Uncle Kenneth was a very special person and will be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His loving spirit and kindness for all is a wonderful legacy for his family and friends. You will always have a warm spot in my heart.

Mr Epps, my father in law, was a good man, a good father, a good grandfather, a good great grandfather. He, and Mrs Epps, my mother in law, raised a good, strong family, who always had his support and love. He was always there for my wife(Lisa), myself, and my children. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom to his family and any one who had the privilege of knowing him. I am grateful I had the opportunity to know him. I will miss him very much. Seth

I only have fond memories of Uncle Kenneth and he will be missed by so many for being the kind and passionate man that he was and his legacy that he left for his family. Yes, his passing is an end to an era for all his nieces and nephews and other family members.
