William Conover Obituary

CONOVER, William William Michael Conover, age 59, of Hwy. N. 226, Bakersville, NC passed away February 13, 2009. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam. He was a Native of Buffalo, NY. Survivors include; wife Elaine Kyle Conover, of the home, father, William Seth Conover, of Buffalo, NY, two daughters, Cynthia Murdock, of Bakersville, NC and Michelle Spurgeon, of Goose Creek, SC, one son, Michael Conover, of Chaparrel, NM, three sisters, Gail Skeens, of California, Nancy Sutton, of Arizona, Leslie Seamans, of Virginia, one brother, John Putney, of New York, and a close cousin, of Cheryl Sanfratello, of New York, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, mother, Betty Staubitz, and two brothers, Jeff and Mard Putney. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Jim Huskins officiating.
