William Chinners Obituary

William J. Chinners Summerville - William J. "Bootsie" Chinners, 87, widower of Lorene Elizabeth Chinners, of Summerville, SC passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, December 29, 2016, at 1 o'clock in Knightsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Parks Funeral Home from 6 - 8 o'clock and Thursday at the church one hour prior to service. Flowers will be accepted. William was born January 11, 1929, in Crescent City, FL, a son of Ernest Chinners and Nancy M. Mixon Chinners. He was a US Coast Guard Veteran. He was a Logger, Farmer and Carpenter. William owned Chinners Bait and Tackle. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his 2 sons, Allen Chinners (Jenny) of Ridgeville, James Chinners (Robin) of Summerville; 3 daughters, Connie Chinners, Diane Hill (David), Darlene Mundy (Daniel), all of Summerville; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
