We are so saddened to learn of Adrian's passing. He and Eugenia have been dear friends for many years and we treasure memories of happy times spent together.
Adrian sang at our daughter's wedding, a beautiful arrangement of the 23rd Psalm. That was the first solo we had heard him sing following their son's tragic death and the strength and strong faith conveyed in his voice touched us so deeply that we asked that he sing it again.
We will miss his joyous personality, his gentlemanly manners, his devotion to Eugenia and their family, his beautiful voice, and his thoughtful renditions by phone of "Happy Birthday."
With our deepest sympathy and love to all the family,
Mae and Joe Aycock

Our deepest sympathies to Eugenia and all of the Chappell family at this time of great sorrow. It is indeed a blessing to have known Adrian and had time over the years to spend time with him and his precious family. May the Lord continue to comfort and strengthen each of you through this time of great loss.
With love, Norman and Barbara Freid and family

Our family was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Chappell. He and Eugenia have been a part of our lives since Dave and I were college students with his son Adrian and wife Yvonne at UGA. We have been honored to have Adrian and Eugenia as our son David's godparents and to have them share in his life. I take much comfort in the vision of him being reunited with his own beloved son, Adrian.
Much love from Cynthia and Dave Mullen

God is near to those that are broken at heart … a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses (Psalms 46:1). May God grant you the comfort and strength that you need during this time of grief and loss.

We are so thankful for the time we were able to spend with Uncle Adrian over the last few years; what precious memories we now have to cherish. He was a wonderful, Godly man who made us proud to be part of his family. We love him and will miss him greatly. We offer our love and prayers to Aunt Neenie and the family.
