I remember Bill as a hard working Legislator from Richland. While we may have disagreed on certain issues, he was always a gentlemen and should be remembered as such. Blessings+,

Sue, I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I have such fond memories of you two together, Bill's sense of humor and love of life. Please know that although I haven't seen you and Bill in years, I have always reserved a special place in my heart for the time we spent together. I'm easy to find (markemorrow.com) and would love to see you sometime, but for now just know that both you and Bill had many positive impacts on this world (as the accounting of Bill's life shows) including my little piece of the universe. Fondest regards, Mark

As a fellow member of the Class of 1956 of Dreher High School in Columbia, I am very proud of Bill's accomplishments. We will remember him at our next class reunion in the spring of 2014. May he rest in peace.

Bill was a delight to be around even in his waning days. He was a very interesting person who was a good friend. He'll be sorely missed. My thoughts & prayers are with his wife.
