You will never be forgotten my friend....

Tears........................ Wow. I am just finding out my dear close friend after 17 yrs have passed on and I didn't even get to say good bye...that I loved him and always wanted the best for him..... I am so sad but I know he knew these things because throughout our friendship we maintained that bond rather we were in person or states away. We knew we had a great friend who would be there in a moments notice and have our backs. I love and miss you.....

May God bless his soul, and give his family strength in this very sad time. From a long time friend.

William and i shared a friendship that even though after all the yrs of not seeing each other since Morningside middle & North Charleston High & was sooooooo happy to have seen my classmate/bro. Reunited by chAnce....on a school campus (North East Middle...Charlotte Nc ) of my oldest son while signing him in school am truly sadden by your lost...Boo had a pround effect on anyone he came in contact with.....my bro rest in peace until we meet again...

we grew up like brothers man...I will always love you...rest easy lil brother!

Smith University and enjoyed his laid back demeanor. A good man indeed. As God prepares Boo's room, know that we loved him dearly but we are comforted in knowing God loved him best.

I was blessed to meet Will years ago as a part of the Detroit "styled" Urban Ballroom experience in Charlotte NC.
A "gentle Giant" who absolutely made an impact on the lives of those he encountered.

William J. Brown was a student in my class at North Charleston High School. He was a joy to have in my class, and he would always say something to make me laugh. He could and did bring joy to many. He was focused, and I was so happy when he choose Johnson C. Smith to attend. He went there and the college and the city knew he was there. Bo and his boys will always be dear to me. My prayers go out to the family. God will see you through. Just hold on to Him.Your teacher forever Bo.

Life gives back to us what we have lost through wisdom and memories. As a member of the Johnson C. Smith University family, I will forever hold many fond memories of William "Boo" Brown near to my heart. As much as it pains us to see such an urbane man depart from our presence, you may leave; God is waiting to receive you.

I don't know Mr.Brown. but his friend and family think very highly of him and that a good thing because they have a beautiful memory of him that will last a long time.may God continue to strengthen the family during this difficult time .

To the Brown family, May God continue to watch over you and heal your hearts during this time of transition. Please know that Boo was great individual that made many people smile and persuaded many others to strive to always be positive. I can remember chanting...go ahead Boo and dunk it. This was challenging because his hands were a bit small...lol. But he never gave up and when he dunked it you would have thought he made the first couple that he missed because he would be hype as all get up...lol. But seriously...he was always great to be around and as many have said always respectful. To my friend, my teammate, our brother, you will be missed but never forgotten. R.I.P.

Boo...A kind and gentle spirit. To the family...May you find peace in your time of loss.

My condolence to the family. I was saddened to learn of Mr. Brown's passing. Although I have only known Mr. Brown a short time, I know that he was truly concerned about the youth, and he worked diligently to reach out and direct them in the right path. He will be missed by many especially the kids. Gone bit never forgotten. He lives on through those that he has touched.

The family of my true and dearest friend and my dearest son I love Boo with all my heart, he always gave me so much respect. A true gentleman and I just want to say I miss him already, was so looking forward to this year to spend everyday seeing his smiling face. But know that this earth has no sorrow heaven can't healed .

A wonderful human being, an amazing man, and great friend. I will forever treasure the laughs, fun times, always encouraging one another to do our best no matter the situation (things in our daily lives, girls, basketball/football, our grades in school). I can truly say Boo "always" keep it real as well. Life has caused us not to be in touch with each other for a few years but I have watched him from afar. Giving back to our community, assisting, encouraging and coaching our Charleston youth to be great in everything they do. Our God makes no mistakes, "No man knoweth the day nor the hour" Matt 24:36 but Boo used his God given talents to make a difference in this world and I am truly honored to call him my Friend. Brown family may God continue to bless you, comfort you, and know that He will give you that peace that surpasses all understanding during this transition in your lives.

Boo, I still can't believe you're gone man. The last we spoke we were clowning per usual. Little Tony said, besides his dad, you were the only other man to encourage him to be better. Thank you for being there for me and my son for the past 11 years. I'm so sorry I wish I knew you were ill I would have prayed harder for you. I know these things in life are certain, but it's never an easy thing to accept. I love you, and my condolences to your son & family.
