William Bray Obituary

William Bray Ladson - William P Bray, 80, of Ladson, South Carolina passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was born on May 29, 1937 in Fitchburg, MA to Leo and Mary (L'Esprance) Bray. He retired after serving 23 years in the US Air Force. William was a member of the Ladson Bass Masters, Bear Creek Fishing Club, and Foster Creek Bass Masters. His many hobbies included a passion for fishing, playing cards, and golf. He was also known as "Piano Bill" in high school for his ability and love of playing the piano. Survivors include his wife, Anna (Rieger) Bray; sons, Peter Leo Bray (Tammy), Andrew D. Bray, and James Bray; daughters, Ruth Ann Bray and Hiede M. Bray (JR); grandchildren, James, Joseph, Nicholas, Christina, David, Amanda, Ella, and Heather; as well as many great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave, Summerville, SC 29483.
