William Brandt Obituary

BRANDT, William COTTAGEVILLE - Mr. William David Brandt, Sr., 68, of 5350 Peirce Road, died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at MUSC. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2006, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park in Charleston. Mr. Brandt was born April 25, 1938, in Charleston, SC, and was the son of the late William E.A. Brandt and Nita Griffin Brandt. He was a retired administrative supervisor with the Polaris Missile Base in Goose Creek. He was a part of the Special Gathering Ministry. He was an avid outdoorsman with a great love of hunting and fishing, and loved to work with his hands. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Surviving are: his wife of 46 years, Ferne Gresham Brandt; sons, William David Brandt, Jr. and his wife Addie of Moncks Corner and Stephen Leroy Brandt and his wife Kelly of Cottageville; grandchildren, Tara Brandt, Lindsey Craddock, Stephen Brandt, Griffin Brandt, and Sarah Mikkelsen; and great-grandchild, Riley Lynn Craddock.
