Dear Mary Ann, Billy, Tina and Johnny. Words can´t express how sad and sorry I am to hear of your husband and fathers passing. Bill and Mary Ann welcomed me into their home when I was 18 and stationed far from home in Guam. We shared so many good times and I learned valuable life lessons about family and raising children that I would cherish and use many years later. I feel bad that we lost touch over the years but am grateful that my wife and boys got to meet you all when we vacationed in SC years ago. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of you.

I am deeply saddened to hear this shocking news.
Bill was one of my best coworkers and friends when we worked at the Agfa’s Bushy Park plant. His upbeat attitude, sense of humor, and unique ability to take care of business made him a very well liked person by everyone.
My fond memories of him in and out of the work place will live with me forever.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

My sincere condolences. I have very fond memories of working together with Bill during the start-up of the Agfa plant in Bushy Park. We had numerous discussions and laughs about a lot of things. I always liked his professionality, his openness, his modesty and being down-to-earth. Even after I left the US we met on several occasions when he visited Agfa Belgium. Last time I met him was 5 years when I had the possibility to meet the old crew after my cycling trip across the US. He will stay in my memories.

I wanted to offer my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. Bill was a great guy. He actually hired me at AGFA in 1996. He was a joy to work for and with. Always cracking jokes making everyone laugh. His friendships continued well beyond his retirement from AGFA. Bill will be missed.

My and Gingers deepest sympathies to all who loved Bill.
I'll never forget the amazing conversations in Bills office over the years at AGFA. He had a deep understanding and intelligence about life and history that was always engaging. Just a great guy.

My deepest condolences for the loss of such a wonderful person.
I briefly met Mr. Blackman when his daughter worked at the Berkeley County Library System.
Mr. Blackman was one of the first volunteers to help register people for the census. He was full of life and jokes. He spoke to me as a friend he had known for a long time and lost contact with only to meet again; warm and tenderly.
May his memories provide comfort, and bring smile on all your faces.

Will definitely miss your Dad. Although we didn't see each other often I knew that when I did I would be laughing and we would all have a good time. He was always telling a joke. He will be missed by many. Love you guys. Sending love and light to all of you!
