The entire Bean family knows how special he was to them and everyone that had the pleasure to meet him.He influenced all the people that he came in touch with for the better! The hardest thing about losing him is there isn't anyone that could ever replace him. His sense of humor and his spiritual devotion will live on through his children. He was one of the greatest blessings to my life!

Every one of us who had the good fortune of being raised on Sullivan's Island has vivid and fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Bean -- their fervent devotion to one another, their strong faith, and their contagious laughter.

As though it was yesterday, I can see Mrs. Bean behind the wheel and Mr. Bean on the passenger's side.

What a tragedy of fate that they should die within three months of one another. This is no coincidence but is, rather, the truest sign of how inseparable they were.
