It is hard to believe that it has been three years since the Lord has called you home. My heartaches that Imani will never know how beautiful a person you were. I wish God had given us more time to get to know you. Love Barbie

I miss you so much and I still have so many questions about our family and Catholic faith. Thanks to God, though, he has provided you with a son, my father, who is answering those questions and providing the me the spirtual guidance that I thought only you could fulfill. I still miss you and regret not spending more time with you. Please forgive me. I love you Grand Momma and you are forever in my heart. -Niki

It may be your third year anniversary, but I see your beautiful smile everyday. I truly miss our daily calls, "trippin" on the family issues. There are days when I am about to call to check on you, yet I smile. You know how much your boy loves you and miss you. We might not talk everyday via telephone, but prayer will always keep us communicating.

Momma, yesterday made three years (August 25, 2005) since we laid you to your eternal rest. Our hearts are still filled with sadness of your untimely death. Although, you are in a much better place and in a position to watch over your loved ones.....those of us in this mortal world are still combating the sadness we feel every waking moment. You were our shining light that never dimmed. The nurturting spirit you maintained never waivered even in times of conflict. You are surely missed and will be in our prayers forever.

Paul a mother's love is unconditional. No matter how old we are we still feel like an orphan when she is gone. There is light at the end of the tunnel and her name is Imani. Through her you can keep your mom alive. Guide her and teach her the way your mother did you. Teach her her history and let her experience her grandmother through storytelling. Keep her memories alive for your daughter. Remember she is still in your heart.

Paul, down the road may seem rough but always remember, "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal." You are loved and will be remembered in prayer during this time of grief and always. Alma

Fields family, I mourn with you in the loss of your mother. While I only knew her a short time, I loved her immediately. The way she loved each of you touched me deeply. Take comfort in knowing that you will see her soon.

Paul, I know from experience mere words cannot explain what you are feeling or will experience in days to come. However, I can say with exact certainty, if you continue to look to the LORD for your strength and for the strength of your family, HE will see you (all) through it. May GOD keep HIS loving arms around you and your family. May you also take comfort in knowing that scripture says; To be absent from the body means to be present with the LORD!
