It is very sad to read of Dexter's passing. I have been Rotary friends with Dexter and the Bunch family since the early seventies. I have always held the Bunch family as the most respected in N. Charleston. I've enjoyed the outings with him and working on Rotary projects together. My prayers are with the family. His passing is a tremendous loss to the community as well.

What a wonderful legacy Mr. Dexter leaves here in earth. And now,he is basking in the perfectness of heaven whole and free. The Dexter Bunch family exemplifies faithfulness, graciousness and love to one another and all those they encounter.
My family reaped the benefits of this kindness and beauty many times over.
The light of CHRIST within in Mr. Dexter, is in each of you and especially glows from his lovely bride Mrs. June. Matthew 5:16

Dexter was among the warmest, most patient, generous, and friendliest members the SC Trucking Association has been blessed to have amongst its leaders. As the association's Treasurer he oversaw great things and provided wise and diligent counsel. The Bunch family has meant a lot to the trucking industry and its association, and Dexter and June were integral second-generation participants. Dexter paved the way for the third one with Duncan stepping right in.

Dear June and precious family, Ray and I want to offer our greatest sympathies to all of you. Dexter was a sweet and humble man, a friend to all. The world was a better place with him in it. He will be sorely missed.

Ray and I have been exposed to the Covid-19 virus and are in quarantine, though we have both tested negative. We only have a 7 day quarantine since we did the testing and had a negative result. We were so sorry to have missed Dexter's service; please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Happy memories you have until you all meet again in Glory.

I was so sorry to read about Dexter's death. I was in the North Charleston Rotary Club with him and used to sit by him occasionally. I always admired him for the way he treated everyone; he was such a good man who did so many things for the benefit of his community and church and the ease with which he conducted himself. I know it's a loss for the family but rest assured he is in heaven now and will suffer no more. And that is a blessing..

My heart hurts for all of you as I know how hard this is. June, you have been such a trooper during Dexter's illness. I know of no one that could do any better and show as much live as you. One of my last memories of him, he was sitting in the recliner and you were leaning over as to kiss him and as plain as day he said " I love you". Not being able to speak a full sentence in a long time. Nothing that made sense. Thru it all he knew you lived him and he lived you so.... I still tear up thinking about it. Hugs to all of you.
