Wes was my grandad, and even though I never really got to talk to him(I was a baby at the time of his death) I have heard amazing things about him. I know that my dad misses him and I wish I could have known him longer. I miss grandpa Wes and I am happy that all of you got to experience what an amazing person he was. I miss him so, so much

Wes was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Myrtle Beach more than 20 years ago. I can truley say that much of the success I've had in my life has been due in large part to Wes. He encouraged me to live my dream, one that I wouldn't have had the courage to pursue without him. My heart goes out to his children and my thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.

To the Jones family and friends. I had worked with Wes as one of his lawyers for his self storage business for many years- in fact Wes was one of my first clients in the business. But besides business, we would always talk about Family- he was a very proud father and would talk about his children a lot. He would always be in good spirits and cared alot about others. He was a special person and will be sorely missed.

I worked for Wes for less than two years and he was always a very ethical, supportive and generous boss. You did not have to know him well to realize what a pleasant and kind person he was and what a smart and enjoyable humor he had. Although I did not know him well, it is very telling about a person's character who always emphasized the positive about people when he spoke of anyone. I am very thankful and proud to have had the opportunity to work for him. My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to all of you, his family and friends with hope that you will be comforted by the memories you share.

I was Wes's administrative assistant for the past 5 years. He was the best boss I have ever worked for. Things will never be the same here at Leonard Call without him. Please know that I am praying for your family. If you need anything at all, please let me know.

Was was a great Uncle. He always seemed to be the youngest member of the family, a man who really loved life and helped many other people to love it as well. We will miss him at our family gatherings.

With all he's been through, his death may be the most shocking. I know that you are all reeling from this and we are so sorry that we cant be there, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Wes is one of the first friends I met when I moved to Myrtle Beach five years ago, through our daughters. He remained one of the kindest. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the kindness he has shown my daughter over the years and the joy I have received watching him interact with his beloved Daisey. He will truly be missed.
