Wendell Rogers Obituary

ROGERS, Wendell CLEVELAND, TN - Wendell Richard Rogers, age 34, a resident of Cleveland, TN and a 1988 graduate of Summerville High School, Summerville, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005 while in route to a Chattanooga hospital. He was a self-employed construction worker. Wendell served in the U.S. Navy in Desert Storm. Wendell is survived by his wife Robin Reid Rogers and children, Blake, Tristen, Brittany and Skylar of Cleveland, TN and Michael Rogers of Olsen, Arkansas. He is also survived by his mother Linda Rogers of Cleveland, TN, father George Sonny Rogers and stepmother Jeanie of Summerville, SC. Other survivors include: three brothers, Travis Rogers of Kings Bay, GA, Troy Rogers of Harrisburg, PA and George Rogers, Jr. of Cleveland, TN; two sisters, Youlonida Thomas of Cleveland, TN, Rhonda Borger of Townville, SC and two stepsisters, Ellen Butts of Ft. Mill, SC and Donna Wilkins of Greenville, SC. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, March 6, 2005 by Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Barry Lee of the Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
