I will always remember the "music", the choir and the love and joy that his music showed God's love. I will always be blessed by those memories. Karen McLauchlan

Sandra and family: Know it has been a long time since Oakbrook Baptist, but just wanted to send thoughts and prayers. Dearly loved to hear Wendell sing, and what a joy to work with in the music ministry. Love to the family, Barbara McLauchlan and my mom and Dad (George and Karen)

Sandra and family. I am so sorry for your loss.
I have known Wendell since I was 16 years old. I always loved hearing him sing and his sense of humor was awesome. He always made me laugh. His love for the Lord and others is an inspiration. Praying for all of you in the days ahead.

Wendell was one of the finest men I have ever known. His smile, his love of the Lord, his music, his wonderful sense of humor, his love of life, I could spend all day describing this amazing man. The angels are singing for joy while we grieve our loss.

Sandra, We are praying for you and the family. We loved Wendell so much. He never met a stranger, and kept us laughing every Wednesday night at choir practice. What a beautiful voice he had! Now he is singing with the angels in heaven! Love you! The Thompson and Kennedy Family

He will surely be missed. Oh what fun we all had listening to Wendell picking the guitar, and GT
sawing the fiddle . So many laughs. My condolences to the family.
