Wayne R Bucher SCHAEFFERSTOWN Wayne R. Bucher, 53, Schaefferstown, died Friday November 27, 2009, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was born in Lancaster, on May 31, 1956, son of the late Franklin E. and Alverta Boyer Bucher. He was employed by the Evans Eagle Vault Co. in Schaefferstown. He was a life member of the Schaefferstown Volunteer Fire Co. #1 where he was very active in the Fire Police. He was a life member of the Heidelberg Sportsman Club and a member of the Lebanon Valley Tractor Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed working on tractors and the Race Car Team. Surviving is sister, Kathy, wife of Durwin O'Roark of Schaefferstown; brother, Carl Bucher of Schaefferstown with whom he resided; a niece, Michele Umberger; nephews, Brian O'Roark, Jason O'Roark, Levi Bucher and their families. Funeral services Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc., N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, where a viewing will be held Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to time of service. Interment Schaefferstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Schaefferstown Fire Co, Schaefferstown, PA 17088.
