Warren G. Getz, 80 years 11 months 2 days, of Allentown, passed away Friday, September, 2, 2005, in his home. He was the husband of Helen (Kramer) Getz. They were married for 58 years on July 19. Born September 30, 1934, in Fullerton, he was a son of the late Frederick S. and Minnie B. (Gable) Getz. He was in service and installation for Colligan Water Conditioning for 30 years and then was a driver for V.A.S.T. for several years, both of Allentown, before retiring in 1982. He was a Lutheran. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the south Pacific. Survivors: Wife; sons, Warren M. of Allentown, Ronald F. of Whitehall; brother, Paul Getz Sr. of Allentown; granddaughter, Tracey; grandsons, Michael, Ronald E., Jason; great-granddaughters, Ashley, Samantha, Caitlynn, Alexis. Services: memorial, 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, Kohut Funeral Home, 950 N. Front St., Allentown. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. On-line condolences available at www.kohutfuneralhome.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to Sacred Heart Hospice, c/o the funeral home 18102-1912.
