Wanda Faye Birr N. Charleston - Wanda Faye Birr, 58, of N. Charleston, wife of the late Raymond "Ironside" Birr, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Trident Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29406. Flowers will be accepted. Wanda was born on April 4, 1963 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Charles Milton and Millie Scott Stirling. She loved her beloved cat, Sassy. She enjoyed traveling and fishing. Survivors include: brother, Danny Stirling (Kari Hill) of Goose Creek; aunt, Mamie Busby (Buzz) of N. Charleston; three nieces: Brenda Reed (Blair) of Mascoutah, IL, Karen Butch (Mike) of Goose Creek, and Sharon Manigault (Jay) of Summerville; eight great-nieces; two great-nephews; and best friend, Yvonne Grant of N. Charleston. In addition to her late husband, Ironside, and parents, she was predeceased by her great-nephew, Steven Ankeny.
