I was in Walter's Chapman Technical High School graduating class and remember him as a lively teenager, a cherry fellow and a fine classmate. I send my words of sympathy to his family members. as our 1947 graduating class grows smaller in number.

Dave and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Walter in South Carolina and missed seeing him when I moved back to Connecticut. He was a really entertaining and fun guy to be around!

Walter was a lively, animated gentleman whose spirit was widely admired as he continued to bowl competitively until the end of his long life. He was an inspiration to all of us in the Young At Heart Senior League, and will be remembered fondly.
