Walter Pittam Obituary

Walter C. Pittam, Jr. HOLLYWOOD, SC - Walter C. Pittam, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Nov. 3, 2022. Walter is survived by his mother, Dorothy H. Lewis of Charleston, his sister, Susan H. Emerson (David) and his nephew, Mark D. Emerson of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter C. Pittam of Connecticut and his brother, Paul J. Hope of South Carolina and niece, Meredith H. Emerson of Georgia. He attended J.I. High School and U.S.C.. Walter was retired and previously worked for the S.C. Wildlife Dept. His interests were in gardening, diving and fishing. He loved the water and also his little corner of the earth in Hollywood. He will be missed by an aunt and numerous cousins, friends and other family members in South Carolina and Connecticut. Special mention is given to cousin, Linda Young (Richard) who offered much help and special attention to Walter in his lifetime. Arrangements will be handled by Simplicity Cremation Services of N.
