George Pennell

We were three brothers young brothers growing up in the war years. In
a busy port of embarkation, so had the black outs and air raid warnings.
Then game the great years after the war. It was a wonderful time and place to
thrive. But time marches on, and I went into the Marines and never returned
to Charleston, except for brief visits. So now so long Gene, you are missed already.

My deepest sympathy to the Pennell family. Gene and his mother were a part of my church family, "their pew" was very close to ours. I've known him all of my life. May your memories bring you comfort in this time of sorrow. God's peace. Jeanne and Don Gerhardt
