Truly sorry to hear of Walter's passing. I had the privilege of being his secretary while he was the Head Football Coach at UConn. May he rest in peace. God bless your family.

Carey & Siblings,
You have my heartfelt sympathy both for the loss of your father and the journey that you had in the last few years. Walt was a great man - a leader who always took the right path in a time when there are few that do that. Charleston and The Citadel were indeed fortunate to have had such a dedicated man. Carey, you were a "key" person in many ways during my tenure at Stall and I truly miss you and others there. May God Bless and Keep you and your family . Walt is finally resting in peace.
