A true loss; his time on this good earth was cut way too short. I knew Walt many many years ago ... back when he began considering the idea of entering medical school. Walt, Lilliam, Jim and I were great friends and did many social things together. He was a very intelligent, sweet, loving and gracious person both professionally and personally and loved by all that knew him. Prayers lifted for a truly wonderful man !!! He will not be forgotten.

My condolences to his family and closest friends. We graduated together from MUSC in 1979...a terrific gentleman. I was so sorry to get the news from the MUSC Alumni department.

We'll all miss Butch. A lot of history here; those were good days.
A good life.
