Wallace Zartman Obituary
News Death Notice
ZARTMAN, Wallace Edwin 90, of Dayton was called home by the Lord on August 18, 2008. He is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 49 years, Marilee; two daughters, Susan and Robin (Ray); and one granddaughter, Anastacia. He was preceded in death by his parents Wallace V. and Bessie, and his brother Carl. Ed loved the Lord and spent many hours in His word and doing His work. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Dayton. He retired from WPAFB after 43 years of service and was a WWII Army veteran. He loved music and was a keyboard player and arranger for the Hauer Swing Band. Many thanks to the staff at The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place and Crossroads Hospice for the loving care they provided the past five months. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August 21, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 239 Wayne Ave. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be at Dayton Memorial Park on N. Dixie.
