Wallace Derrick Charleston - Wallace Edgar Derrick Jr. of Charleston SC, passed away September 11th 2018 at the age of 77. He was born on June 14, 1941 in Augusta GA, son of the late Wallace Edgar Sr. and Mary Catherine Derrick Wallace had many financial and business interests and served on the board of directors for Palmetto Mortgage Corporation for several years. He enjoyed golf and was a member of The links at Stono Ferry. He appreciated the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family. Wallace is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann Derrick; children, Wallace Derrick III, Chris, and Michael Derrick; grandchildren: Ryan, Crystal, Dougless, James, and Kyra; brother, Edward Derrick. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 2501 Bees Ferry Rd. Charleston, SC 29414, where his funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 11:00AM . Burial to follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
