W.R. Marvin, Jr. LOBECO, SC - William Ralph "Sonny" Marvin, Jr. of Lobeco, South Carolina passed into the hands of the Lord on February 26, 2013 at the age of sixty-seven. A graveside service will be held at Stokes Cemetery on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Hendersonville, South Carolina. All relatives and friends are invited. Sonny was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 22, 1945, the first-born child of William Ralph Marvin, Sr. and Elise Bryan Marvin. He attended Camden Military Academy, graduated from Beaufort High School and went on the University of South Carolina, then served in the National Guard for seven years. Sonny worked at the family business, Marvin Transport, until his medical retirement. He was preceded by his parents and younger brothers, Samuel E. Marvin and Russell J. Marvin. Surviving are brothers Wayne B. Marvin, R. Stephen Marvin, C. Frederic Marvin, Richard E. Marvin and Roland B. Marvin. Also surviving are sister-in-law Suzanne B. Marvin, nieces Shannon M.
