Vivian Davis Obituary

DAVIS, Vivian OAKLAND - Vivian Althea Morgan Davis 75 passed away Monday January 30, 2006 at Maine General Medical Center Thayer Unit in Waterville. She was born in Hartland October 16, 1930 the daughter of Thirnwood F. Morgan Sr. and Lenora (Brooks) Morgan. Vivian graduated from Hartland Academy, Class of 1948. She married Warren E. Davis on June 21, 1949 in Pittsfield. Vivian worked over 30 years as a secretary in food service at Colby College. She was a member of the Pithian Sisters of Hartland. She is predeceased by her loving husband Warren, in 1978, her youngest son James who died in January 2002, and a brother James Morgan who died in August 2002. She will be greatly missed by all of us. Surviving are her children and their families, Michael A. Davis of Oakland,, Barbara and David Bernier of Oakland, Patricia and Michael Thul of Corinth, Susan Davis of Oakland, Shirley and John Axtell of Somerville, SC., Gwen and Pastor Andrew Smith of Sebago Lake, Kathy Davis of Oakland, Terry and Siyamak Shahin of Manchester, NH. Her brothers and sisters; Thirnwood Jr and Joanne Morgan of Palm Spring Fla., Joan and Melvin Kitchen of Auburn, Betty Morgan of Waterville, Fredrick and Linda Morgan Kingwood Texas, Dana and Savilla Morgan of Hartland, Peggy Morgan of Hartland, Gerald and Kathy Morgan of Plano, Tx., 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. We Love and miss you, Soar with the Angels. Friends are invited to visit 7-9 PM Wednesday February 1 and 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday February 2 at Wheeler Funeral Home 26 Church St Oakland where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday.
