Vivian Barber CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 3, 2010, Vivian Collins Erickson Barber, first married to the late William L. Erickson and widow of Thomas Edward Barber. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services, Sunday, June 6, 2010, at four o'clock in James Island Presbyterian Church. Burial will take place Monday at ten o'clock in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Sunday between two-thirty and three-thirty o'clock Mrs. Barber was born June 1, 1925, in Laurens, SC, the daughter of Ernest Collins and Lula Weeks Collins. She was a member of The Church of The Nativity. She retired as office manager with the Local Union #470 Plumbers and Steamfitters. She is survived by one daughter: Susan E. Weber (Alan) of Orlando, FL; two sons: William L. Erickson, Jr. (Julie) of Charleston, SC and James David Erickson of St. Augustine, FL; seven grandchildren: Joseph "Jamie" Ardis, Jennifer Ardis, Erica Ardis Gravitt, Jessica Erickson, William L. Erickson, III, David Erickson, and Dana Erickson Vasquez; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother: David Collins (Kay) of Memphis, TN, and many nieces and nephews.
