Jenna Lou was born on February 17, 1937 in Josephine, West Virginia, daughter of the late Harold Quincy and Garnet Monk Meadows. Granny's life was about sharing love with everyone by feeding them, by holding them, and by keeping them warm. This was reflected in her daily life. She cooked regularly and every Sunday supper was a family affair. She made quilts for over 50 years and was quilting last Thursday morning. Her nurturing extended to all, including flowers and stray cats. But above all she loved children. Her newest and most treasured role was Gigi to her three great-grandchildren. She is survived by five children: Mark Ford Hurley (Elyece) of St. Charles, IL, Randall Craig Hurley (Nancy) of Venice, FL, Jewell Renee Bruce (Bob) of Ladson, Jayne Robin Lemelin of Summerville, and Jay Royce Williamson (Jennifer) of Cumming, GA; eight grandchildren: Benjamin Bruce, Audrey Darby (Mike), Joseph Lemelin (Niki), Megan White (Jacob), Catherine Lemelin (Fiance` Austin), Craig Hurley, Michael Lemelin, and Katie Williamson; three great- grandchildren: Aiden, Caroline, Atticus; dearly beloved sister: Jewell Ann Whitmer (Jim) of Cool Ridge, WV; five brothers: Harold "Buzzy" Meadows of Northfield, OH, Douglas Meadows (Linda) of Little River, SC, David Meadows (Barbara) of Odd, WV, Daniel Meadows (Jennifer) of Ghent, WV, and Thomas Meadows (Nancy) of Odd, WV; one sister- in- law: Emil Meadows of Glen Burnie, MD. She was predeceased by one brother, Dennis Meadows. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jamesadyal.com. ARRANGEMENTS BY JAMES A. What a sweet wonderful woman. She always made us feel welcome in her home and a part of her family. Praying for everyone, family and friends. Her light shines on strongly through each and every person she encountered. I'm absolutely positive she is in heaven rejoicing. I know I shall miss her.
