I think the Canasta group would have dissolved after BJ's death but Virginia took charge and called us and she played until this month. She was a good player and a wonderful kind and generous human being.

I knew Virginia through the local canasta group. She was a very gracious lady who always had a smile. We had moved here from Minnesota and Virginia was interested in where we had lived in the Twin Cities. I will miss her at the canasta games.

I feel like Auntie Ginna and I were soul mates. She was with me when my mother (her sister) was dying and we held on to each other in our grief. It created a special bond. We talked on the phone regularly after that for more than 30 years sharing thoughts and feelings. She was a very special lady and I wish I could be there to celebrate her life well lived. I am so glad she got to come to Montana and we got to go to North Carolina. My most sincere condolences go out to the rest of the family. She will be missed.
