Virginia Martin Obituary

Dear Cynthia & family members,
I first met your mom at First Baptist where we both worked. She all ways had a sweet spirit about her and a smile on her face. I will always remember seeing and talking to her if on the phone or the doctor's office.
My prayers and thoughts will be with you and your family as you go through this sad but yet happy time that your mom is no longer in pain. I never heard her say anything negative about her condition, just a smile and wanting to know how I was doing. Such a sweet and loving person. God needed another Angel in heaven and knew your mom was the one to fill that position.
Stay strong as your mom would want you to be and remember God is beside you and will help you all the way. May God bless you all.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Virginia a couple of years ago when she joined New Zion and she had such a sweet spirit and she touched my daughter's life and she called her Momma and Cynthia was her sister. Remember her smile and warm spirit as the days go by time will heal your pain. A beautiful red rose has been picked by God to blossom in his garden forever.

Dear Family,

I send my deepest condolences to my entire family, especially those closest to Cousin Virginia. Just remember, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Pslam 30:5). She is at peace now where there is no more suffering, tears, and heartache. Please take solace in knowing that though she is no longer with us, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2 Cor. 5:8) . There are so many wonderful memories of Virginia and I working at the Navy Lodge.We use to dance in the lobby. I taught her how to do the electric slide.Even though she was sick she never complained. She was a good friend and I will miss talking to her. My condolences to all her family.
