Virginia La Piana Obituary
Martinez, CA: Nov. 27, 2015. Jean lived a long and full life and passed peacefully in Martinez, California. She is survived by her son, David La Piana and daughter-in-law Mary McFarland; grandchildren, Marisa and Chase La Piana; sister, Joanne Guadagnino; nieces, Lynn Hennion, Lori Alireza, Lisa Cammarano, Wendy Leung, Elaine Luffman; nephew, Philip Guadagnino; and Maria Yanez her devoted caretaker. She is now joined with her husband of 63 years Charles John La Piana.

David & Family~ We just learned of the passing of Dear Jean. She & Charlie were such great friends to my parents, and a friend of our family for over 50 years. We kept in touch over the years and I will truly miss talking to her.
Our Deepest Sympathy & May God Bless You.

My sister was a caring, loving person. When needed she was by my side through life's struggles. My children cared for her very much. She will not be forgotten!

DEAR DAVID, MARY AND CHILDREN. I HEARD THE NEWS A FEW MINUTES AGO AND MY WIFE ANNE AND I WISH TO EXTEND OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND OUR PRAYERS.
THE LAPIANA FAMILY WAS VERY VERY LARGE; HOWEVER, YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER WERE MY FAVORITES AND I REALLY FELT BAD WHEN THEY MOVED TO CALIFORNIA. ( I REMEMBER YOU WERE VERY VERY SMALL AT THE TIME).
YOUR MOM AND DAY WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS.
