Virginia Jeffcoat Obituary

Virginia Axson Jeffcoat LIVINGSTON, SC - Virginia Axson Jeffcoat, 85, of Livingston, died Saturday, February 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Livingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Fulmer officiating. The casket will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Jeffcoat was born in Norfolk, VA, a daughter of the late Duncan Lander and Mattie Miller Axson. She was a member of Livingston United Methodist Church. She retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a loving mother. Survivors include two daughters: Wanda J. Bolin, of Kiawah Island; and Maretta J. Linder, of Livingston; and two sons: Richard Jeffcoat, of North; and Michael Jeffcoat, of Livingston; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren (and one on the way). She was predeceased by a two daughters: Virginia Denise and Susan Gayle Jeffcoat; a son, John R. "Bobby" Jeffcoat, Jr.; and her husband, John R. Jeffcoat, Sr. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfh.com) and other times at the home of 1304 Silversprings Road, Livingston.
