Virginia Ebright Obituary

Virginia K. Ebright, 88, of Midland, died Friday evening, June 23, 2006, at the Cartwright Center in Saginaw.

She was born on March 16, 1918, in Alma, the daughter of the late Frank O. and Nora (Bright) Moore. She was united in marriage to David Ebright on March 21, 1936. He predeceased her on June 1, 1980. Virginia lived in Bay City, where she raised her family and worked as a beautician. She moved to Midland in 1987 where she resided at Green Hill. Over the years she enjoyed playing cards, bingo, bowling, swimming and playing the piano and organ. Virginia loved spending time with her family and she always said that her wealth in life was her many friends.

Virginia is survived by her children and their spouses, Terry and Marie Ebright of Maple City, Bonnie and Rod MacDonald of Auburn and Jan and Geoff List of Midland; her grandchildren, Dan (Karen) Ebright, Dave (Debbie) Ebright, David (MiChong) Axtell, Randy (Jeri) Axtell, Tim (Lori) Axtell, Chad (Karen) Liszt, Mathew List and Katy List; 12 great grandchildren; a niece and two nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, one brother, Wallace Moore, predeceased her.

A Memorial service for Virginia will take place 11 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2006, from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Inurnment will take place in Elm Lawn Cemetery.

Virginia's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning, July 15, 2006, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to express their thanks for the compassionate care given by MidMichigan Hospice, Visiting Nurses and the Cartwright Center.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the VNA Hospice or the Cartwright Center in Saginaw.
