Virginia Dennis Obituary

Virginia Dennis ELLOREE, SC - Mrs. Virginia Ellis Dennis, 72, of Elloree, wife of John O. Dennis, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at her daughter's home in Eutawville. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home with Rev. Ton Hendrickson and Rev. John Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany Churchyard. Mrs. Dennis was born in Dumas, Ark., a daughter of the late Carl Ellis and Louise Rhyne Ellis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Pearson and a son, James Sims. In addition to husband, she is survived by a daughter, Diane (John)Hilton of Eutawville; a brother, Rick (Tina) Ellis of Vidalia, La.; grandchildren, Chris (Robin) Clark of Elloree, Randy (Jessica) Hill of Alcolu, J.D. Sims, Kas Sims, Cindy Moore, and Jamie Calouette all of Miss.; and ten great-grandchildren.
