Virginia Carter Obituary

CARTER, Virginia RUFFIN- Mrs. Virginia Ann LaFrage Carter, 76, of 1424 Penny Creek Road, died Sunday, September 24, 2006, at Colleton Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Grace Advent Christian Church Cemetery, directed by The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Mrs. Carter was born August 8, 1930 in Lumberton, NC and was the daughter of Joseph LaFrage and Lucille LaFrage Adcock. She was the widow of Henry Willis Carter. Surviving are: her children, Pat Weihemuller and her husband Loren of Walterboro, Steve Clough and his wife Kelly of Walterboro, Thomas LaFrage of Georgia, Mark Carter and his wife Sherry of Cottageville, Terry Harriott and her husband Joe of Ruffin; four grandchildren, Kristi Nuggent, Mandy Crosby, Amanda Carter and Morgan Carter; and a brother Shane LaFrage of Salisbury, NC. She was predeceased by a sister, Melba Jean Lane and a brother, William C. LaFrage. Family and friends may call Monday evening from 6 until 8 at THE BRICE W.
