Victorine Sarine Obituary

Victorine Sarine, Jr. "Vic" GREELEYVILLE, SC - Mr. Victorine "Vic" Sarine, Jr., 70, husband of Levelia F. Sarine, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in a Charleston hospital. Mr. Sarine was born October 21, 1939, in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Ida Varner Sarine and Victorine Sarine, Sr. He was educated in Berkley County schools, was a Navy veteran, and was a retired framing contractor. Mr. Sarine was an avid fisherman and attended Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Mr. Sarine was preceded in death by a brother Felix Sarine. In addition to his wife Levelia, Mr. Sarine is survived by: two sons, Darren Sarine of Walterboro and Gerry Sarine (Renee), of Summerville; two step-children, Emory Leverette of Cottageville and LaManda Nance, of Melvern Kansas; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Domie Sarine (Libby), and Bobby Sarine (Cookie), both of Summerville, Alex Sarine (Rhonda), of Bonneau, and Jerry Sarine, of Moncks Corner; and two sisters, Catherine Wheeler (Fred), of Summerville and Ellie Winick (Larry), of Honolulu, HI. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010, in the WILLIAMSBURG FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL in Kingstree. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greeleyville.
