Victoria "Sug" Washington Rivers McClellanville, SC - Victoria "Sug" Washington Rivers, 99, of Mcclellanville, S.C, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rivers Sr, mother, father, three sisters, three brothers, a son, Robert Rivers Jr,; and daughter, Loretta Rivers Downes. Victoria was born in North Santee, South Carolina located in Georgetown County. She leaves to cherish her days on earth, her son, Harry Rivers, Mcclellanville, SC; daughters, Marie Rivers Braithwaite, Brooklyn, New York and Janie R. Nesbitt(Carl) Mount Pleasant, SC; her adopted daughter, Hazel Powell, and two special nephew,s Jonathan Blake and William Washington, Jr.; a special adopted daughter, Ms. Roxy White, one daughter-in-law, Alice Rivers, along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and special care providers.
